Lucknow: The patriotic fervour is set to sweep across Uttar Pradesh as the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign kicks off today. The campaign will run in three phases — from August 2 to 8, August 9 to 12, and the final phase from August 13 to 15 — leading up to the country’s 78th Independence Day.
Chief Secretary S.P. Goyal has issued detailed instructions to all departments for the smooth execution of the campaign. Schools across the state will host special events promoting the importance of the national flag among students and encouraging a spirit of nationalism.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Uttar Pradesh government is organizing the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative. Various departments of the state government will actively participate, ensuring wide public engagement.
Citizens will be encouraged to hoist the tricolor at their homes and share selfies with the national flag on social media platforms. Along with this, bike and bicycle rallies featuring the Tricolor will be organized by the Home Department, Police, NCC, NSS, and Civil Defense units.
A range of cultural programs will also be held across districts to celebrate India’s freedom and valor. Furthermore, all government buildings in the state will proudly fly the national flag from August 13 to 15.
The campaign aims to instill a deep sense of pride and patriotism among the people of Uttar Pradesh and strengthen the emotional connect with the national flag.
