EXCLUSIVE: “I Don’t Call The Industry Good Or Bad” – Manoj Bajpayee

He began by saying he doesn’t like labeling the industry as good or bad. “It’s a specific type of work,” he explained, “with many people involved, each competing in their own way.” And honestly, who doesn’t compete these days, right?

“Some people try to pull others down, tease them, feel jealous or insecure,” he said. But, of course, it’s not all gloom and doom. “There are people who mind their own business, make their own films, live their lives their way, and are genuinely good, pure people,” he added. That’s the kind of energy we all want around us.

EXCLUSIVE: Manoj Bajpayee Exposes The Dark Side of Bollywood Parties: “They Bash Others & Be Jealous”

“I’ve known people whose get-togethers are all about bashing others,” he chuckled. “They sit around discussing how successful so-and-so’s film was, and being jealous about it.” His advice? Don’t hang out with them much. Simple as that. You know they exist, but it’s your choice whether to spend time with them or not.

“Who you invite to your home, and who you don’t – that is your decision.” Manoj reflected. “That’s why I choose my company very wisely and consciously,” he emphasized, “I’m very, very clear about the kind of people I want to surround myself with.”

It’s a simple but powerful message… your tribe shapes you. Manoj Bajpayee’s take isn’t just about Bollywood; it’s about life. His wisdom is clear – focus on your work, be kind, and stay away from the drama.
