The 2026 Mahindra XUV 7OO facelift will borrow the triple-screen setup from the XEV 9e, suggests the new spy images
Mahindra will introduce the facelifted version of its flagship SUV, the XUV 7OO, by mid 2026 in the Indian market. The current version has been on sale for more than four years as it was originally launched in 2021. Recently, the first images of the 2026 Mahindra XUV 7OO facelift interior emerged on the web, which revealed a triple-screen setup in the cabin, identical to the XEV 9e. A few days back, the 2026 XUV 7OO was spotted during its test runs on the Indian roads, and a few styling updates could be noticed despite the heavy camouflage.
Going by the spy images, the 2026 XUV 7OO facelift will be introduced with three screens of 10.2-inch which will act as digital instrument cluster, central touchscreen infotainment system and an additional screen for the front passenger. Upon closer look, a new two-spoke steering wheel with backlit Mahindra logo is also visible in the cabin. We have already seen this unit in the XEV 9e.
The SUV will also boast of modern and advanced features such as front and rear ventilated seats, Harman Kardon audio system, digital key and self-parking system. In addition, it is likely to borrow the same dashboard design as the all-electric XEV 9e SUV. The changes in the exterior are not going to be as substantial as the interior.

Though the front fascia will undergo significant updates, the side and rear profile are most likely to be carried over from the ongoing model. At the front, there will be a redesigned grille with vertical slats, and circular headlamps with newly-designed DRLs which will replace the ongoing model’s C-shaped DRLs. Surprisingly, fog lamps were missing from the test mule.
Internally codenamed as W616, it will be developed on the similar lines as the XEV 9e with futuristic and radical styling. It could be equipped with upmarket safety equipment in the form of Level 2 ADAS tech, 7-airbags and Hill Hold Assist. We could also get to see a dual-pane panoramic sunroof with multi-colored ambient lighting in the new SUV.

Mechanically, there are no updates reported in the 2026 XUV 7OO facelift as of now. It is believed to be carrying the same 2.0L turbocharged petrol and 2.2L turbocharged diesel engines with identical power and torque figures. The transmission choices will also be retained in the form of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic units.
