Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has introduced the 2025 Grand Vitara CNG lineup in the domestic market by integrating a new set of features while also stepping up its safety aspects with six airbags now part of the standard package. In terms of equipment upgrades, the cabin now receives ventilated seats for the front row, a wireless charging pad and a PM 2.5 air purifying unit with a real-time display.
Other highlights are sunshades for rear windows, a tyre pressure monitoring system, rear camera, 17-inch alloy wheels, a nine-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and a Clarion-sourced speaker system. Buyers will also get auto-folding mirrors, keyless entry, rear AC vents, automatic climate control and Suzuki Connect.
The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG Delta trim is priced at Rs 13.48 lakh while the Zeta trim carries a tag of Rs 15.62 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). As you might expect, dimensions remain unchanged with the midsize SUV stretching 4,345 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, and standing 1,645 mm tall.

The S-CNG version continues to rely on the familiar 1.5-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT K-series petrol engine, tuned to deliver a claimed efficiency of 26.6 km per kg when running on CNG. The factory-fitted CNG variant supplements the Grand Vitara range that already spans mild-hybrid, strong-hybrid and AWD-equipped powertrains. In terms of performance, the CNG mode outputs 87.8 PS at 5,500 rpm and 121.5 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm.
The safety equipment of the CNG-spec Grand Vitara has been revised to add six airbags as standard, joining existing technologies like Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, disc brakes at both ends and ISOFIX mounts for child seats.
