VinFast is all set to enter India in the coming months with the VF 6 and VF 7 and both are currently part of a roadshow across the country
After their initial showcase at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, the Vietnamese automaker, VinFast, is taking a duo of electric models directly to the public in a multi-city roadshow which began a couple of days ago. A total of 11 cities have been chosen for this high visibility push as the VF 6 and VF 7 are on display.
From Select City Walk and Pacific Mall in Delhi, Ambience Mall in Gurugram to several Lulu Malls scattered across Kochi, Lucknow, Bengaluru and Trivandrum, the displays also cover Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Vijayawada, Chennai and Pune as VinFast intends to grab attention of its prospective customers ahead of the official market launch.
At each stop, shoppers will be able to explore the SUVs in detail and get a feel for the design direction VinFast is trying to establish in the Indian EV market. The VF 6 and VF 7 bring distinct styling cues. Where the VF 6 channels a philosophy called “Dualities in Nature,” its sibling, the VF 7, wears a more angular design rooted in what the brand calls “Asymmetric Aerospace.”
Both models are equipped with panoramic glass roofs, large central displays, full width LED lighting signatures and a suite of advanced driver assistance features. Besides building a manufacturing base in Tamil Nadu, VinFast is ramping up a service network through partnerships such as the one with Global Assure.
The production activities at the local base will commence in the coming weeks. The VF 6 will be equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery pack and a single electric motor capable of 204 hp and 310 Nm. It does 0-100 kmph in 8.89 seconds and boasts a WLTP range of 480 km while the VF 7 uses a larger 75.3 kWh battery unit with a claimed range of up to 450 km.
