The customer deliveries of the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 are set to begin by the end of this month; existing buyers can switch to long range configuration if desired
Mahindra & Mahindra is set to begin dispatching Pack Two versions of the BE 6 and XEV 9e born electric SUVs from the end of July 2025. This phase introduces a second battery option, adding a larger 79 kWh pack to the existing 59 kWh unit. The revised lineup now starts at Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) with the higher capacity version priced from Rs 23.50 lakh.
Buyers should note that charger installation remains an additional cost with 7.2 kW and 11.2 kW units offered separately. The city driving range climbs to a claimed 500 km for the 79 kWh variant while the 59 kWh alternative continues to deliver an estimated 400 km in real world conditions. Existing customers waiting on deliveries can choose to switch their bookings to the newly added long range configuration if desired.
Both battery variants are heavily equipped carrying over key features like Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic glass roof and the 16-speaker Harman Kardon setup with Dolby Atmos. The BE 6 adopts premium sage leatherette upholstery and an ivory roof liner borrowed from Pack Three. Meanwhile, the XEV 9e retains its triple screen layout with a modern dashboard layout.
