Aryan Khan is officially stepping into the spotlight, not in front of the camera but behind it. The young filmmaker, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, just unveiled the preview of his much-anticipated directorial debut Netflix series The Ba**ds of Bollywood and let’s just say… it’s dripping with swag and attitude.
Bollywood’s glitzy façade is about to get a cheeky shake-up! The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, promises a sharp-edged mix of dark comedy and drama that dives right into the chaos of the Hindi film industry.

Leading the pack are Kill fame Lakshya and Sahher Bambba, with Raghav Juyal, Bobby Deol and Mona Singh also joining the ensemble. And here’s the kicker: expect major cameos from none other than Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh. Talk about a power-packed guest list.
Lakshya stars as Aasman Singh, a rising heartthrob navigating fame with his buddy, played by the ever-funny Raghav Juyal. Manish Chaudhry steps in as Sodawallah, a loaded producer with a single mission – to create the ‘biggest family drama ever.’ And then there’s Bobby Deol, strutting in as Ajay Talvar, the ultimate superstar, because obviously, who else?
Adding extra spice, Salman Khan pops up at what’s hilariously described as a “bulls**t party,” while Ranveer Singh does his trademark energy thing, ending with a cheeky “very hard!” Oh, and yes, Karan Johar seems to be playing… well, Karan Johar.
If the preview is anything to go by, Aryan’s debut is set to be a wild, witty ride through the filmi circus we can’t stop obsessing over.

Backed by Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment, Aryan Khan’s directorial debut is already one of the buzziest projects of the year. The series is set to drop on Netflix on 18th September 2025.
