Updated 2025 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 gets a new shade and addition of new features including a slipper clutch; no mechanical changes made

Royal Enfield introduced the first J series engine platform based motorcycle in the form of the Meteor 350 back in 2020 and it was followed by the Classic 350 and Bullet 350. The range also comprises the Hunter 350 and not too long ago, the Goan Classic 350 bobber made its market debut. Alongside the Goan Classic, the Classic 350 also received updates last year.

Only a few months ago, the revised Hunter 350 made its way to the market. Staying in line, the Meteor 350, brand’s most affordable cruiser, has now received a mid-cycle update. It gains a brand new blue colour scheme along with new equipment such as an LED headlamp and LED turn signals.

As standard, the Chennai-based manufacturer offers USB Type-C charging port while a Google-powered Tripper Navigation system is also available. It enables turn-by-turn navigation as you may already know. Another addition is the slipper and assist clutch while the semi-digital instrument console while the chrome exhaust has been opted out in favour of a sportier blacked-out unit in the Stellar trim with mild graphical changes.

Besides these inclusions, the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 won’t get any major changes as the familiar 349 cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine known for its smoothness stays put. It continues to deliver a maximum power output of 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The transmission duty is handled by a five-speed unit.

It has to be noted that the GST 2.0 restructuring meant its prices have come down drastically as the base variant is around Rs. 13,000 cheaper at Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom) before the new tax slab implementation. Sold in four variants namely Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova, it gets seven new colourways. The Supernova and Aurora variants come with adjustable levers as standard.

The cruiser offers a ground clearance of 170 mm.
