2025 Triumph Trident 660 gets more standard equipment and an additional ride mode while the familiar 660 cc liquid-cooled triple continues

Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the updated Trident 660 in India for 2025 with prices starting at Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The middleweight naked continues to serve as the entry point into Triumph’s three-cylinder lineup and it is now refreshed with added features and equipment options. The 2025 Trident retains the 660 cc liquid-cooled, 12-valve inline three-cylinder engine.

It develops a maximum power output of 81 PS at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm of peak torque delivered at 6,250 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox while a slip and assist clutch comes as standard. Electronic throttle control manages fuelling while a stainless-steel 3-into-1 header ends in a low-slung silencer.

The British manufacturer continues to use its tubular steel perimeter frame, suspended by Showa’s 41 mm upside-down separate function big piston (SFF-BP) forks up front with 120 mm of travel. At the rear, a preload-adjustable Showa monoshock offers 130 mm of travel. Braking is handled by twin 310 mm front discs with Nissin two-piston callipers.

The rear gets a single 255 mm disc. Both ends are equipped with optimised cornering ABS. Tyres come in a 120/70 R17 front and 180/55 R17 rear configuration, mounted on 17-inch cast alloy wheels shod in Michelin Road 5 tyres. At 190 kg wet and with an 805 mm seat height, the Trident 660 continues to be one of the more accessible triples in the segment. The 14-litre fuel tank contributes to its slim profile while the 1401 mm wheelbase and 24.6-degree rake give it agility in urban settings.

As for the features, the 2025 Trident 660 gains cruise control and quickshifter support alongside its three riding modes (Sport, Road and Rain), switchable traction control and TFT-integrated LCD instrumentation. Buyers also have access to Triumph’s connectivity module which adds turn-by-turn navigation, phone and media integration and even GoPro control via the motorcycle’s display.

For those wanting more, Triumph is offering a long list of optional accessories, ranging from heated grips, USB chargers and scrolling indicators to tyre pressure monitoring and luggage such as tail packs and tank bags. Bar-end mirrors, a flyscreen and an aluminium belly pan round off the cosmetic and touring-oriented add-ons.

The motorcycle is backed by a 16,000 km or 12-month service interval whichever comes first. Courtesy of its compact proportions, tractable triple engine and growing list of features, the updated Trident 660 will look to appeal to a wider range of consumers in India.
