The TVS King Kargo HD electric three-wheeler is designed to cater to the evolving needs of the urban and semi-urban logistics segment
TVS Motor Company has debuted in the commercial EV segment with the launch of the King Kargo HD EV. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer is already selling conventionally powered ICE King Kargo with a 225cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. In addition to the new launch, the company also showcased the King Kargo HD CNG variant, which is scheduled to go on sale by the end of 2025.
The TVS King Kargo HD EV is designed to serve the needs of last-mile delivery services. Talking about the specifications, the commercial electric three-wheeler comes with a 6.6 ft load deck with a robust leaf spring suspension setup. Its top speed is limited to 60 kmph. TVS is offering a standard warranty of 6 years or 1.5 lakh kms, whichever is earlier.
The King Kargo HD EV ensures ease of usage with the lowest loading height of 703 mm, while its ground clearance stands at 235 mm. The water wading capacity of 500 mm is another advantage of the electric three-wheeler.

The company claims a charging time of 3 hours and 10 minutes for the King Kargo HD EV. In the interest of better manoeuvrability in tight spaces, it has the lowest turning radius of 3,420 mm, enabling a hassle-free experience in city traffic. Moreover, the EV sports the shortest braking distance with a bigger drum diameter of 200mm.
In terms of equipment, the TVS King Kargo HD EV comes loaded with a host of segment-first features, such as LED headlamps and tail lamps, a spacious cabin with fully rolling windows, stylish door trims for improved ventilation and a dedicated Power Gear Mode that delivers superior torque under load. It also gets a twin-axis rear-view mirror for safer navigation through congested city streets.

Apart from this, the TVS SmartXonnect application with 26 smart features is also a part of the package. It is also equipped with TVS Connect Fleet- India’s first three and two-wheeler telematics solution for fleet owners. The robust web-based platform with 31 advanced features gives the fleet operators complete control and visibility of their operations
The TVS King Kargo HD EV is priced at Rs. 3.85 lakh (ex-showroom). In the first phase, the commercial electric three-wheeler will be available across key markets including Delhi, NCR (Faridabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad), Rajasthan and Bengaluru.
