Considering retail sales, Hero led the way ahead of Honda, TVS, Bajaj and Royal Enfield in October 2025 courtesy of good reception this festive season
The two-wheeler market recorded a massive rebound in the month of October 2025 – clocking total retail sales of 31.5 lakh units. The total resulted in a notable 51.76 per cent increase over the 20.75 lakh units retailed during the same month last year. The festive rush, improved rural liquidity and steady demand across cities fuelled this run.
Hero MotoCorp once again took the crown registering 9,94,787 unit sales last month – up by more than 72 per cent compared to October 2024. The brand’s success can be attributed to its widespread penetration, consistent demand for the Splendor and HF series, and a series of festive benefits across dealerships.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India followed in the second position with 8,21,976 units enduring a growth of 47.78 per cent on a year-on-year basis. The Activa range continued to be the main volume driver while its entry-level commuter offerings brought in additional numbers. The brand’s country-wide presence and continuous scooter demand have helped it maintain a solid footing in the market.
