Ghaziabad : A two-day spiritual conference titled “Essence of Gita – Foundation of Life” was inaugurated today at the Country Inn Hotel, Vasundhara, Sahibabad, under the aegis of the Brahma Kumaris organization. The event witnessed a packed gathering of over 2,000 participants who experienced peace and deep spiritual reflection through Rajyoga meditation.

The inaugural session was addressed by internationally renowned motivational speaker, spiritual teacher, counselor, and management trainer, Rajyogini BK Usha Didi, who arrived from Mount Abu. Speaking on the relevance of spirituality in today’s world, she emphasized that the conflicts and challenges at personal, family, social, national, and global levels can find solutions in the wisdom of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.

Highlighting the symbolism of the Mahabharata war, Usha Didi said, “The battle between Pandavas and Kauravas is the reflection of our inner war between positive and negative tendencies. Rajyoga, as taught by the Supreme, enables us to gain mastery over our senses and control our mind, which is the greatest need of the present time.” She further explained that the human mind generates 30,000 to 70,000 thoughts daily, most of which are ordinary, wasteful, or negative, while only a few are truly positive and elevated. Spiritual knowledge, she said, helps transform these thought patterns for a balanced life.

Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg, who graced the occasion, praised the Brahma Kumaris for their global spiritual service, remarking, “As a public representative, I serve Ghaziabad and the nation, but the sisters of Brahma Kumaris are serving the entire world spiritually.”

Pradeep Jain, President of Country Inn, called it a privilege to host such a meaningful event. Several prominent dignitaries were also present, including former Councillor Rajendra Tyagi, Councillor Shilpa Chaudhary, BJP leader Vineet Sharma, former Rajya Sabha MP Anil Agarwal, Vijay Gulati (Director, St. Teresa School), Alka Agarwal (Director, Mewar Institute), Devendra Narang (Director, Jaipuria Management Institute), Shalini Gupta (Co-founder, Pinkish Foundation), and Additional District Judge Satyapal Narang, among others.

The program concluded with a session of Rajyoga meditation, offering participants a profound experience of inner peace. The conference will continue tomorrow with further discussions on the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.
