Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor starrer much-talked-about romantic comedy, Param Sundari, finally hit theatres amid high anticipation.
Following the recent successes of Metro… In Dino and Saiyaara, all eyes are on whether this film can continue Bollywood rom-coms’ winning streak.
According to reports, Param Sundari registered an opening of ₹7.37 crore net on Friday, recording an overall occupancy of 10.64%.
Although romantic films usually witness modest openings, Param Sundari’s first-day collection is considered low even by genre standards. The figure stands at just one-third of the opening day earnings of Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, which had raked in ₹21.5 crore on its release last month.
