Hyundai Introduces Offers Of Up To Rs. 5 lakh On New Cars In September

Hyundai rolls out a wide range of offers on new cars to sustain momentum ahead of GST rate reductions later this month

In a bid to drive up sales amidst the anticipated slowdown owing to the upcoming implementation of reduced GST rates, Hyundai has rolled out some attractive schemes for its new cars. The company is providing savings of up to over 5 lakh rupees this month.

The Grand i10 Nios, which serves as the entry point in Hyundai’s Indian line-up, can be purchased with benefits of up to 60,000 rupees this month. The company is giving a cash discount of up to 30,000 rupees, a corporate discount of 5,000 rupees, and an exchange bonus of up to 25,000 rupees or a scrappage bonus of up to 30,000 rupees.

On the Aura, the sub-4 metre sedan derived from the Grand i10 Nios, Hyundai is giving offers worth as high as 50,000 rupees. There’s up to 20,000 rupees of cash discount, a corporate discount of 5,000 rupees, plus an exchange bonus of 10,000 rupees or a scrappage bonus of up to 15,000 rupees.

The Exter, which competes with Tata Motors’ hot-selling Punch, is available with savings of up to 50,000 rupees. Customers can avail a cash discount of up to 25,000 rupees and an exchange bonus of up to 25,000 rupees or a scrappage bonus of up to 30,000 rupees on the micro-SUV.

The i20 and its sporty N Line variant can be purchased with benefits of up to 60,000 rupees this month. Hyundai is giving a cash discount of up to 25,000 rupees and an exchange bonus of up to 35,000 rupees or a scrappage bonus of up to 40,000 rupees on the premium hatchback. The Venue and its sporty N Line variant are available with a cash discount of up to 35,000 rupees and an exchange bonus of up to 30,000 rupees or a scrappage bonus of up to 35,000 rupees. In total, customers can save up to 70,000 rupees on the small SUV.

Moving to 4-metre+ models, the Verna is available with a cash discount of 20,000 rupees, a corporate discount of 10,000 rupees, and an exchange bonus of 30,000 rupees or a scrappage bonus of 35,000 rupees. Hyundai is providing a maximum benefit of 65,000 rupees on its VW Virtus rival.

The Creta, Hyundais best-selling car in India, is available with no offer other than a scrappage bonus of 5,000 rupees. Its three-row version, the Alcazar, on the other hand, can be purchased with offers of up to 65,000 rupees. Hyundai is providing a cash discount of 20,000 rupees and an exchange bonus of 30,000 rupees or a scrappage bonus of 45,000 rupees on the family-oriented SUV.

As for imports, the Tucson and Ioniq 5, both expected to be replaced by facelifted versions in the coming months, are available with savings of up to 1,00,000 rupees and 5,05,000 rupees, respectively. On the Tucson, Hyundai is providing up to 35,000 rupees as a cash discount and an exchange bonus of up to 60,000 rupees or a scrappage bonus of up to 65,000 rupees. On the Ioniq 5, the company is providing a cash discount of 5,00,000 rupees and a scrappage bonus of 5,000 rupees.
