Hero Xtreme 125R single seat variant sits above the IBS trim and below the split-seat version equipped with ABS

Hero MotoCorp has silently updated the Xtreme 125R lineup with a single-seater variant priced at Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom). It sits above the IBS trim and below the split-seat version equipped with ABS. The base Hero Xtreme 125R IBS is priced at Rs. 98,425 while the split-seater costs Rs. 1.02 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).

Besides the obvious change, no other updates have been made as the motorcycle continues to be powered by a 124.7 cc single-cylinder engine which is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 11.5 hp and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is linked with a five-speed transmission and the same unit can also be found in the recently launched Glamour X.

The 2025 Hero Xtreme 125R is packed with features and technologies including an all-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlamp, LED tail lamp and LED turn signals, alloy wheels, sharp body panels. It is available in six paint schemes namely Stallion Black, Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue, Stallion Black, Firestorm Red and Cobalt Blue.

The Xtreme 125R is built on a diamond frame chassis and it features 37 mm telescopic fork at the front and hydraulic monoshock at the rear. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with a 90/90-17 tubeless tyre at the front and a wider 120/80-17 tubeless tyre at the rear. With a kerb weight of 136 kg, the Xtreme 125R has a wheelbase of 1,319 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm.

It boasts a seat height of 794 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres. It features a 240 mm front disc brake along with a 130 mm rear drum brake setup. While CBS is standard, the top-end variant comes with a single-channel ABS system. The Hero Glamour X, on the other hand, is packed with several segment-first features including cruise control.

It also gets ride-by-wire technology, three ride modes namely Eco, Road and Power and a TFT instrument console with connectivity options. It can be had in a total of five colours and is presented in drum and disc brake versions. The Glamour X is priced at Rs. 90,000 for the former and Rs. 1 lakh for the latter (ex-showroom) – making it the most feature-packed model in its class.
