HDFC Securities appoints Anand Mathur as CFO, CFO News

HDFC Securities, the stock broking subsidiary of HDFC Bank, has appointed Anand Mathur as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective March 5, 2025. Mathur succeeds Kunal Sanghvi, who has been elevated to Chief Strategy and Transformative Officer, according to Sanghvi’s LinkedIn update.

A Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Mathur brings over 20 years of extensive experience in financial strategy and operations. His career includes leadership roles at HDFC Bank and Citibank India, where he specialized in financial management, strategy, and regulatory compliance.

Most recently, Mathur served as Head of Strategic Initiatives in the Chief Executive Office at HDFC Bank, focusing on financial planning and strategic growth.

Commenting on the appointment, Dhiraj Relli, Managing Director & CEO of HDFC Securities, expressed confidence in Mathur’s leadership, stating, “Anand’s tenure at Citi India involved managing financial strategy and overseeing local regulatory reporting. We are confident that his leadership and vision will play a pivotal role in advancing HSL’s financial strategy and fostering growth.”

With this key appointment, HDFC Securities aims to strengthen its financial leadership and enhance its position in the dynamic broking industry.
