Piaggio Group unveiled the Aprilia RS 457 GP Replica and updated factory range along with special editions of Vespa scooters
The Piaggio Group returned to EICMA 2025 in Milan by showcasing new models from Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa. Aprilia’s new SR GT 400 is the most significant expansion of its scooter portfolio in years – packing 36 hp from a liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor and weighing just 186 kg. Aprilia calls it a GT scooter, but its long-travel suspension, motorcycle-style front fork and semi dual-purpose tyres make it equally happy off the tarmac.
It gets premium kit too comprising a 5-inch TFT screen, keyless ignition, traction control and adjustable ABS. There is even an adjustable windscreen and generous underseat storage. The Aprilia RS 457 GP Replica is from the other end of the brand’s spectrum as the track-ready special edition is heavily inspired by its MotoGP prototype.
Built for younger riders in Europe’s A2 license category, it carries over the 47 hp twin-cylinder engine from the standard RS 457 but adds a performance kit boasting a bidirectional quickshifter, upgraded brake pads and a single-seat cowl. The RS GP inspired black livery with its combination of matte and gloss finishes enhance the sporty stance.

Despite the added flair, the RS 457 GP Replica retains Aprilia’s lightness and agility by tipping the weighing scale at just 175 kg wet. Aprilia’s Factory range also gets a subtle visual update. The Aprilia RSV4, Tuono V4, RS 660 and Tuono 660 now share an aerodynamic-inspired theme with arrow-like graphics running along their flanks.
The idea is to mirror the airflow paths studied in CFD and wind tunnel testing. Moto Guzzi’s V7 and V85 lineups now feature new finishes and colours that connect to the brand’s sporting past – Rosso Monza for the V7 Sport and new hues like Verde Legnano and Giallo Wadi for the V85 range. Even the Stelvio, Moto Guzzi’s adventure flagship, adopts a pair of earthy new shades – Grigio Climbing and Verde Hiking – both inspired by outdoor exploration gear.

On the scooter side, celebrating its 80th anniversary, Vespa has introduced the new Primavera and Sprint S – both reengineered for 2026 with five-spoke 12-inch wheels, updated ergonomics and upgraded brakes featuring rear discs and front ABS. The Primavera’s styling is sleeker while the Sprint S gets a distinctive five-slot side grille as a nod to Vespa’s sportiest classics.
Both now feature keyless start, full-LCD instrumentation and a host of colour options. The 80th Anniversary Edition is available on the Primavera and GTS wearing a soft Verde Pastello finish and comes with matching pastel detailing across mirrors, wheels and body trims, exclusive badging on the front and leg shield. Besides these, the Beverly 25th Anniversary Edition has also been showcased.
