WWE Raw took place on January 19, 2026 from the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It streamed on Netflix at 3 pm Eastern time in the United States. The episode continued the build to Saturday Night’s Main Event and the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. The Royal Rumble begins the road to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

GUNTHER opened the show. The Vision faced Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragon Lee. Becky Lynch defended the Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri. Finn Balor faced CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event.

GUNTHER opens the first-ever WWE show from Belfast

GUNTHER comes to the ring and says AJ Styles made a mistake last week by focusing only on making him tap out. He says AJ forgot he was facing the best professional wrestler in WWE. GUNTHER reminds everyone that he put Bill Goldberg to sleep and made John Cena tap out. He says his future leads back to the World Heavyweight Championship and officially declares for the Royal Rumble.

AJ Styles interrupts and says he wants a rematch at the Royal Rumble. GUNTHER refuses, saying he does not want to wrestle twice because he is already in the Royal Rumble match. As GUNTHER turns to leave, AJ accuses him of being scared.

AJ says GUNTHER did not truly beat him and claims he lost because he showed mercy. He says GUNTHER tapped out. GUNTHER responds that he already proved he is better and smarter and still has no reason to give AJ a rematch.

Before leaving, GUNTHER says AJ can get the rematch only if he puts his career on the line. He tells AJ to give his answer by the end of the night. GUNTHER leaves the ring as the crowd chants against him.

Becky Lynch (c) vs Maxxine Dupri

Becky Lynch defended the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri.

The match was competitive, with Dupri controlling long stretches and coming close to winning multiple times. Becky survived the ankle lock and several near falls. Natalya helped Becky by distracting Dupri by placing her foot on the ropes during a pin attempt.

Becky recovered and hit the Manhandle Slam. Becky Lynch won by pinfall and retained the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Austin Theory, “Big” Bronson Reed, & Logan Paul vs Dragon Lee, Penta, & Rey Mysterio

Dragon Lee, Penta, and Rey Mysterio defeated the Vision team of Austin Theory, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul.

The match featured fast teamwork from Lee, Penta, and Rey, with frequent tags and high-flying offense. The Vision controlled parts of the match using power and distractions. Adam Pearce and Paul Heyman argued at ringside, leading to confusion. Rey Mysterio used the dropped brass knuckles to strike Austin Theory.

Penta then hit a flip piledriver on Austin Theory. Dragon Lee, Penta, and Rey Mysterio won by pinfall.

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY set tag title defence before Royal Rumble

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY came to the ring and spoke to the crowd. Rhea said they will defend the women’s tag team titles against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez at Saturday Night’s Main Event. She said RHIYO is always on top of Judgment Day. They announced that after retaining the titles, both of them will also compete in the Royal Rumble.

Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez interrupted. Liv said RHIYO is delusional and claimed the tag titles will be taken back. She told IYO SKY that Rhea will eventually turn on her. Roxanne said all three Judgment Day women will be in the Royal Rumble and that Judgment Day will main event WrestleMania.

Rhea questioned how that would work if all of them are in the Royal Rumble. Before an answer, Raquel Rodriguez appeared and kicked Rhea Ripley. Judgment Day attacked Rhea and IYO. The segment ended with Liv Morgan hitting Oblivion on Rhea Ripley.

El Grande Americano vs Je’Von Evans

El Grande Americano and Je’Von Evans started with quick arm drags and fast exchanges. Evans used speed with dropkicks and aerial moves, while Americano answered with an enzuigiri and strikes. The action spilled to the floor before the break.

After the break, Je’Von Evans was down on the floor and being checked by a doctor. The referee stopped the match. El Grande Americano won by referee stoppage.

CM Punk vs Finn Balor 

CM Punk and Finn Bálor began with technical wrestling and quick counters, with neither man gaining early control. The match stayed even through strikes, mat work, and exchanges on the floor. After the break, Bálor landed Sling Blade, shotgun dropkicks, and a Coup de Grace, but Punk kicked out. In the closing moments, Punk countered Bálor’s offense, lifted him again, and hit the Go to Sleep.

CM Punk won by pinfall with the Go to Sleep and retained the WWE Men’s World Heavyweight Championship. After the match, Punk and Bálor showed respect, shaking hands in front of the Belfast crowd.
