The total volume of TVS in Q1 FY26 with 12.77 units indicates a 17 per cent increase over the 10.87 lakh units sold in Q1 FY25
TVS Motor Company reported its strongest quarterly performance yet, closing the April-June 2025 period with total sales of 12.77 lakh units across two- and three-wheelers. The total volume indicates a 17 per cent increase over the 10.87 lakh units sold in Q1 FY25. The two-wheeler volumes alone stood at 12.32 lakh units for the Apache maker while three-wheelers contributed 0.45 lakh units – up 46 per cent from the same quarter last year.
Doubling down, the month of June 2025 ended on a high as well with TVS recording total sales of 4,02,001 units – marking a 20 per cent year-on-year jump from 3,33,646 units sold in June 2024. Its motorcycles saw healthy traction with a 24 per cent rise – volumes moved from 1,52,701 units last June to 1,88,774 units. Meanwhile, scooters fared even better, posting a 26 per cent increase, reaching 1,62,291 units against 1,28,986 units in June 2024.
The domestic two-wheeler sales totalled 2,81,012 units in June 2025, registering a 10 per cent growth compared to 2,55,734 units a year ago. However, in contrast to overall gains, electric two-wheelers declined slightly. EV sales fell to 14,400 units in June 2025 from 15,859 units last year with the company citing continued disruption in the EV supply chain, especially concerning magnet availability, as a key constraint.

Despite the dip, retail demand for the iQube remained solid. The Hosur-based brand’s international business showed strong recovery momentum with exports in June surging by 54 per cent to 1,17,145 units – up from 76,074 units in June 2024. In specific, the two-wheeler exports climbed 58 per cent to reach 1,04,686 units.
Over the full quarter, export volumes stood at 3.52 lakh units, a 39 per cent rise from the 2.54 lakh units shipped in Q1 FY25. The three-wheeler segment also contributed to overall growth, clocking 16,303 units in June 2025 – a 42 per cent jump compared to 11,478 units in the same month last year. The brand is expected to bring in a host of new products to sustain its growth trajectory.

Amongst the highlights will be the 150 cc iteration of the Ntorq sporty scooter. As domestic volumes rising steadily and exports outperforming expectations, the company’s EV momentum shows potential despite temporary bottlenecks.
