The upcoming TVS Ntorq 150 is expected to be equipped with a new 150 cc liquid-cooled engine; will be packed with modern features and tech

The TVS Ntorq 125 series has held its ground within the lineup for years now – carving a strong presence through regular updates, new variants and limited editions. Positioned in the sporty scooter category, it has continued to stay relevant even as competition in this space has intensified with new entries from different brands in India.

At the same time, the domestic market has seen a shift toward larger capacity offerings with 150 cc and 160 cc models steadily gaining traction. Building on the strong acceptance of the Ntorq badge, TVS is now preparing to introduce a new addition to the family and it will go on sale on September 4, 2025. Can’t wait? As we reported earlier, the teaser is already out and we are getting our hands on it soon too.

The teaser image hints at a sharper design highlighted by an updated LED headlamp setup featuring the familiar T-shaped signature which is complemented by four auxiliary LED units. Interestingly, this scooter could also mark new ground for TVS as the brand currently lacks a liquid-cooled motor in its scooter range below the 300 cc mark.

The Ntorq 150 will have its work cut out going head-to-head with rivals like the Yamaha Aerox 155, Aprilia SXR 160 and the recently launched Hero Xoom 160. Among its competitors, the Hero Xoom 160 and Yamaha Aerox 155 are equipped with liquid-cooled engines while the Aprilia SXR 160 is powered by an air-cooled mill only.

TVS is likely to pack the Ntorq 150 with plenty of kit – borrowing heavily from its latest crop of launches. A TFT display with full connectivity options, turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth, edgy styling with bold graphics, split-seat setup, blacked-out alloys, LED lighting all around and even multiple ride modes with rider aids could be part of the package.

Pricing, as always with the Ntorq badge, is expected to stay sharp to keep it competitive in this growing space. For the upcoming Ntorq 150, TVS might borrow cues from its 160 cc motorcycles to develop a new engine. That said, sticking to an air-cooled setup could leave it trailing rivals that already boast liquid-cooling tech.

There is every chance TVS could debut an all-new 150 cc liquid-cooled motor for the scooter – potentially pushing out around 15 PS max power.
