Upgraded Magnitude of 8.8 on seismic scale hit the Russia and Coastal patt of USA., the earth quake epicentre was Petropavlovsk in Russia however no major damage reported. The coastal area of USA has also experienced effect of this earthquake although no damage were reported from this coastal reason.
This earthquake of 8.80 on richter scale has seen is gauged as 6th Strongest earthquake ever reported on this planet. On earlier occassions such high frequency on seismic scale had occured in Chile (2010) and Ecuador (1906).This is a once-in-a-generation event.
Tsunami alerts are also active across Hawaii, Japan, Alaska, and in entire U.S. West Coast due to outcome of this earthquake. The advisory by local authorities have been issued in the entire reason for alertness.
