Tata registered its highest ever festive season sales with 61,295 units across domestic and international markets; endured 27 per cent growth
Tata Motors has achieved a new milestone in October 2025 as it registered its highest ever festive season sales with 61,295 units across domestic and international markets – a huge 27 per cent jump in volumes over the tally of 48,423 units during the same period last year. It also marked the company’s second consecutive month of record wholesales.
The achievements are mainly due to the improved buying sentiment and festive momentum seen throughout the period. SUVs once again formed the backbone of Tata’s sales – contributing more than 47,000 units and taking an impressive 77 per cent share of total volumes. The Nexon led the charge with a notable 50 per cent year-on-year increase – maintaining its stature as one of the country’s most sought-after compact SUVs.
The Harrier and Safari models too recorded good numbers – jointly crossing 7,000 units – courtesy of the appeal of the Adventure X variants and the enduring demand for the recently launched Harrier EV. Tata’s electric vehicle division registered its best-ever monthly performance too with 9,286 units – enabling a huge 73 per cent growth over the previous year.

The rising popularity of the Nexon EV, Punch EV and Tiago EV has played a pivotal role in this uptrend. The positive buying affair during the festive season also reflected on the retail front with more than one lakh vehicles delivered between Navratri and Diwali with a 33 per cent rise compared to the same period last year.
October further saw record levels of bookings across both ICE and EV portfolios according to the brand. Tata is all set to introduce the new generation Sierra later this month in its ICE guise while the electric avatar is also bound to arrive in early 2026. It will be packed with features and technologies and will be positioned above the Curvv.
