Tata Motors has launched the Nexon EV with ADAS tech in the Indian market. Offered on the range-topping Empowered +A 45 trim, it has been priced at Rs 17.29 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. In addition, Tata Nexon Empowered +A 45 #DARK and Tata Nexon Empowered +A 45 Red #DARK has been equipped with the ADAS suite while introduced at the price points of Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from the Level 2 ADAS safety equipment, the company has also rolled out two additional features in the form of rear window sunshade and ambient lighting.

Tata Nexon EV comes with the highest 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. It is sold with a lifetime HV battery warranty for the first owner. The Level 2 ADAS suite comes loaded with several advanced features such as Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Centering System, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning for Pedestrian, Cyclist & Car, Autonomous Emergency Braking for Pedestrian, Cyclist & Car, and High Beam Assist.

The ADAS version of the Nexon EV is around Rs 30,000 more expensive than the Empowered + variant, which is priced at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The ADS tech is offered only with the 45 kWh battery pack. The #DARK and Red #DARK editions cost nearly Rs 20,000 more than the Empowered +A 45 grade. It remains unchanged in terms of design, features and battery specs.
Talking about the Tata Nexon EV Empowered +A 45 #DARK, it is rolled out in an exclusive all-black colour scheme while the cabin also boasts of all-black leatherette bolstered seats. The 45 kWh battery pack returns a C75 real-world driving range between 350–370 km. The all-electric SUV can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in 40 minutes with 150 km of range added merely in 15 minutes.

Some of the prominent features onboard the Nexon Empowered +A 45 #DARK includes a Panoramic sunroof, Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) charging & Vehicle to Load (V2L) technology, and exclusive UI and UX for the 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system and 10.25-inch instrument cluster. Launched first in 2020, the e-SUV is India’s most sold EV till date.
Tata Nexon EV is also available with a 30 kWh battery pack with lower driving range. However, the ADAS tech has only been offered with the top-spec grade with the bigger 45 kWh battery.
