Tata Ace Gold+ uses Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology which eliminates the need for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and thus lower ownership costs

Tata Motors has expanded its highly popular Ace portfolio with the launch of the Ace Gold+ which is claimed to be the most affordable diesel powered model in the portfolio. Priced aggressively at Rs. 5.52 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant is said to focus on entrepreneurs seeking cost-efficient cargo operations with high standard reliability.

What sets the Ace Gold+ apart is its use of Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology which eliminates the need for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). It cuts down on recurring maintenance costs – directly lowering the total cost of ownership for operators. For small businesses and fleet owners, it may directly translate to higher savings per trip and improved profitability while still adhering to the latest emission norms.

Under the hood, the Ace Gold+ comes equipped with a turbocharged Dicor engine which is good enough to produce a maximum power of 22 PS of power and 55 Nm of peak torque. Its 900 kg payload capacity is complemented by multiple load deck configurations – making the Tata Ace Gold+ a versatile enough CV to handle diverse applications.

Tata Motors’ small commercial vehicle range is already the most extensive in the country. With models like the Ace Pro, Intra and Yodha, the homegrown manufacturer caters to payload requirements from 750 kg to 2 tonnes across multiple fuel choices including diesel, petrol, CNG, bi-fuel and electric.

The Ace Gold+ fits into this portfolio with ease – strengthening Tata’s range in the sub-1-tonne cargo carrier category. Tata also offers Sampoorna Seva 2.0 – a lifecycle package with AMC options, genuine spare parts and 24/7 roadside assistance. It is backed by the company’s expansive 2,500 plus service outlets and the Star Guru network of trained technicians.
