Shefali Jariwala Death: Ongoing Investigation

The police have launched an investigation and registered an ADR (Accidental Death Report). So far, they’ve recorded statements from eight people, including family members, household staff and doctors. For now, they’ve ruled out any family dispute.

During a search of her house, the police found several medicines, including anti-ageing injections, beauty oils and gastro pills. Shefali had been taking anti-ageing treatments for nearly 8 years, on a monthly basis.

What Were These Injections?

Sources revealed that the injections mainly included Vitamin C and Glutathione. Glutathione is commonly used for skin lightening and detox, and doctors say these treatments are mostly cosmetic and don’t directly affect the heart.

“Anti-ageing therapies do not have serious side-effects, but if she also took any hormonal therapy that might have carried some side effects,” said cardiologist Dr Dhirendra Singhania as per NDTV on Shefali Jariwala’s death.
