Saiyaara Movie Review:
Mohit Suri returns with Saiyaara, and it’s everything fans of his signature tragic romance could hope for. With heart-wrenching emotions, a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, and two very promising debuts, the film is a bittersweet journey of love, pain, and passion. It’s like Rockstar meets Aashiqui 2 meets Ek Villain… a potent blend of angst, melody, and raw intensity.
The real highlight here is the palpable chemistry between Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. As Krish and Vaani, the two light up the screen with their energy, intensity, and genuine charm.
Ahaan Panday makes a remarkable debut. He’s charismatic from the very first frame, smoothly switching between daredevil attitude, flirty charm, brooding anger, and raw vulnerability. His eyes speak volumes in the more emotionally-charged moments of the film, and there’s a natural ease in his acting that makes you think of a young Shah Rukh Khan or Ranveer Singh. Overall, a mature, layered performance for his debut.

Saiyaara Movie Review:
Aneet Padda, on the other hand, is all softness and soul. She brings the girl-next-door charm and a quiet strength to Vaani. Her expressive eyes carry heartbreak convincingly. There’s an innocence about her that balances Ahaan’s fiery energy perfectly. A very strong and promising debut performance from her side.
The first half is sprinkled with cute, romantic moments that’ll give you butterflies – especially one bike ride scene where he playfully pulls Aneet closer with his hoodie and ties her to his waist. It’s sweet, it’s silly, and it leaves you smiling.
The first half of Saiyaara has a breezy, feel-good vibe; setting up the romance with lighthearted moments, emotional undercurrents, but that classic Suri-style intensity is just simmering under the surface.

Saiyaara Movie Review:
It’s the second half where the tone shifts and the angst really kicks in. Suri brings out the beauty in heartbreak, and while the melodrama gets a bit cheesy at times, the sincerity in its execution keeps it grounded.
The third act punches hard. It’s heartbreaking and emotional, although the finale does feel slightly rushed. A little more breathing room would have made the ending even more impactful.
Musically, Saiyaara is a total winner. When the Saiyaara title track finally arrives, it is pure magic on the big screen; haunting, emotional, and completely goosebump-inducing. Dhun and Barbaad are other standout songs from the album that stay with you.
Overall, Saiyaara delivers a moving story backed by stellar music and two strong debut performances. If you love passionate, painful love stories with a dash of melodrama and a whole lot of heart, this one is definitely worth watching!
