Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will become the brand’s top-of-the-line adventure tourer upon launch sometime next year in India and abroad
Royal Enfield has kicked up the excitement ahead of EICMA 2025 by teasing its next big adventure motorcycle – the Himalayan 750. The brand shared dramatic visuals with the tagline “Born at 5,632 meters”, a direct reference to Mana Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. The place where the bike was put through its paces during high-altitude testing.
The new flagship ADV will join the lineup above the current Himalayan 450 and is expected to make its market debut sometime next year. Interestingly, Royal Enfield is also developing an electric iteration under the same nameplate, though the internal combustion variant is clearly the first to reach its production guise.
Recent test mules had showed a host of updates such as a more sculpted front cowl, taller windscreen, larger fuel tank and an all-new chassis featuring a monoshock with linkage. While the design language remains familiar to its 450 cc sibling, the stance and proportions give off a more mature, long distance touring vibe.

At the rear, the unified tail-light and turn indicators mirror those on the 450 while the cockpit gets a full-colour TFT screen with smartphone connectivity and navigation. Ride modes and electronic aids are also expected. Powering this flagship is a newly developed 750cc parallel-twin engine – a bigger, torquier evolution of RE’s 650 cc twin-cylinder platform.
The motor will be paired with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch with expected outputs north of 50 hp and 55 Nm. Mechanically, the Himalayan 750 gets twin front discs with ByBre callipers, fully adjustable USD forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels confirm its touring as well as terrain intent.

Meanwhile, the relocated oil cooler and revised exhaust routing point to better thermal management and high-altitude tuning. With a new bash plate, side-mounted crash bars, and mounts for panniers and auxiliary lights, it appears to be engineered for adventure touring. When it goes on sale, the Himalayan 750 will slot into the middleweight ADV space, squaring off against rivals like the Honda CB500X, upcoming BMW F 450 GS and Kawasaki KLE 500.
