Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition gets exterior and interior enhancements to differentiate itself from the regular model; production limited to 500 units
Renault is marking ten years of the Kwid in India with a refreshed lineup and a new 10th Anniversary Edition. Over the past decade, the Kwid has been a popular model in the small car market with its SUV-inspired stance and budget friendliness. The new anniversary edition gets subtle design tweaks and added equipment compared to the standard model.
The celebratory edition is based on the Techno trim and its production is limited to just 500 units. Priced at Rs. 5.14 lakh for the manual and Rs. 5.63 lakh for the AMT, the special edition gets dual-tone shades – Fiery Red with Black roof and Shadow Grey with Black roof – alongside black Flex wheels, unique decals and a yellow grille insert.
The two-tone combination also makes the Kwid the most affordable car in India to offer such a finish. On the inside, the celebratory theme carries forward with mustard yellow accents on the seats, steering wheel, infotainment surround and door trims. Illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps add to the unique bits.

The updates, however, aren’t confined to the limited run. The French auto major has also restructured the entire Kwid range with new variant nomenclature – Evolution replacing RXL, Techno in place of RXT and Climber carrying forward as the top trim. Its safety features have also been beefed up across the board with all variants now offering three-point seatbelts for every seat while the Climber variant gains six airbags.
Pricing remains aggressive, starting at Rs. 4.29 lakh for the base Authentic MT and going up to Rs. 5.99 lakh for the Climber AMT DT. The Kwid’s AMT option, available from Rs. 4.99 lakh, continues to be one of the most accessible automatic offerings in the country. Under the skin, nothing has changed though as the familiar 1.0-litre three-cylinder SCe gasoline mill stays put.

The powertrain is paired with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT and it kicks out 67 bhp maximum power and 91 Nm of peak torque. Commenting on the new launch, Venkatram Mamillapalle, Managing Director, Renault India, said:
“The Kwid has been instrumental in shaping Renault’s journey in India, redefining the entry segment with its innovation, accessibility, and over 95% localisation. Having already set new benchmarks in style within the micro-SUV category, the 10th Anniversary Edition marks a significant milestone — celebrating a decade of customer trust and our commitment to delivering high-value mobility solutions.”
