Hyundai Venue HX5+ gains roof rails, quad-beam LED headlamps, a rear wiper and washer, a wireless smartphone charger, etc
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has further expanded the appeal of its recently launched new generation Venue by introducing a new HX5+ variant priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new addition strengthens Hyundai’s compact SUV lineup by offering enhanced features at a competitive price point. The five-seater is currently sold in HX2 to HX10 trim levels.
The HX5+ variant is powered by Hyundai’s Kappa 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a manual transmission and it bridges the gap between mid and higher trims making premium features more accessible to a wider set of customers. In terms of design and exterior enhancements, the HX5+ gains a host of visual upgrades that should elevate its road presence.
Key additions are roof rails and quad-beam LED headlamps along with the inclusion of a rear wiper and washer. On the inside, the 2026 Hyundai Venue HX5+ comes equipped with a wireless smartphone charger allowing device charging without cable clutter. A driver console armrest with integrated storage has also been added to the new variant for improved ergo.
Rear-seat occupants benefit from the addition of a rear window sunshade. Up front, the driver power window now features auto up-down functionality along with safety protection. Alongside the introduction of the HX5+, Hyundai has also updated the existing HX4 variant of the Venue. The trim now gets a driver seat height adjustment feature.
The presence of the new trim comes on the back of Hyundai receiving more than 50,000 bookings for the new sub-four-metre SUV which was launched in early November 2025. Compared to the old model, it gets a number of revisions inside and out along with the inclusion of new features and technologies including dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays and a suite of Level 2 ADAS.
