Citroen Aircross X gains new features and a deep brown colour scheme but no mechanical changes have been made
Citroen has consolidated its presence in the domestic market with the arrival of the new Aircross X and the entire range now carries a starting price tag of Rs. 8.29 lakh (introductory). The SUV is the latest addition to the brand’s X series – joining the recently launched Basalt X and C3X. Compared to the regular model, it gets a host of feature additions.
The Aircross X is offered in both 5- and 7-seat configurations complemented by a large boot volume of 511 litres. A ground clearance of 200 mm, wide-opening doors and roof-mounted vents for the rear are other highlights in addition to the signature ride quality the brand is known for. The interior has been refreshed with the addition of more premium equipment as mentioned above.
It gains ventilated leatherette seats, gold-accented inserts on a leatherette wrapped dashboard, redesigned gear selector, ambient and footwell illumination, a frameless 10.25-inch infotainment unit and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster as expected. A new deep brown colour scheme has also been added bringing an updated appeal.
