Bajaj Auto has consolidated its electric scooter range with the launch of the all-new Chetak C25. Priced from Rs. 91,399 (ex-showroom), the Chetak C25 positions itself as a more affordable offering and it uses a 2.5 kWh battery pack which is said to deliver a claimed IDC range of 113 km between charges. The battery takes 2 hours 25 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 per cent.
A full charge is completed in 3 hours 45 minutes using a 750W off-board charger. Bajaj has also included an on-the-go charging port – allowing riders to power small devices while commuting. The electric scooter features a hub-mounted motor and a top speed of 55 kmph and it utilises Eco and Sport ride modes to meet different riding conditions.
A reverse mode further improves ease of use in tight parking spaces. Built around a metal body construction, the Chetak C25 carries an IP67 rating making it resistant to water and dust while it also boasts 170 mm ground clearance. Despite the sturdy build, kerb weight is kept to 108 kg – helping with manoeuvrability.

Under-seat storage stands at 25 litres and the scooter also comes with the lowest turning radius in its segment at 1,825 mm. Feature highlights include a colour LCD display, call accept and reject functionality, music controls and front disc and rear drum brakes. Seat height is set at 763 mm while the wheelbase measures 1,225 mm.

Buyers can further personalise the Chetak C25 with optional add-ons. Bajaj offers the TecPac at Rs. 3,000 which unlocks additional smart features. An extended warranty – total 5 years / 70,000 km – is priced at Rs. 5,990 while roadside assistance costs Rs. 1,099 annually. Accessories include a main stand for Rs. 917 and a side footrest priced at Rs. 690.
