WWE Wrestlers with Most Eliminations in a Single Royal Rumble Match: The Royal Rumble match is a professional wrestling event based on the battle royal format. In this event, a group of wrestlers, traditionally 30, attempt to eliminate opponents by throwing them over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor. The last wrestler remaining is declared the winner. The match is usually the main event of WWE’s January pay-per-view and livestreaming event called the Royal Rumble. It was created by WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson and first held at a house show in October 1987.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin holds the record for the most Royal Rumble victories, winning three times (1997, 1998, and 2001). Several other wrestlers, including Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Batista, Triple H, Randy Orton, Edge, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, and Charlotte Flair, have won the match twice. Hogan, Michaels, Austin, and Rhodes are the only four to win consecutive Rumble matches. The term “Royal Rumble” is trademarked by WWE. Other wrestling promotions have created similar matches, such as World War 3 in WCW, Gauntlet for the Gold in TNA, and the Casino Battle Royale in AEW.
