Maruti Suzuki clocked a total of 2,20,894 units – setting a new record for monthly volumes which includes 1,80,675 units sold domestically

Maruti Suzuki India Limited registered its highest-ever monthly sales in October 2025. The carmaker clocked a total of 2,20,894 units – setting a new record for monthly volumes which includes 1,80,675 units sold domestically – its best-ever domestic performance – alongside 8,915 units supplied to other OEMs and 31,304 units exported to global markets.

The compact and small car segments remained at the heart of Maruti Suzuki’s success – led by the ever-popular Swift, WagonR, Baleno and Dzire. Combined, these models contributed 76,143 units. Maruti Suzuki’s deep market penetration and dependable product appeal ensured impressive numbers through the festive month, supported by the GST 2.0 reforms.

The Alto and S-Presso together added another 9,067 units. Utility vehicles continued to strengthen Maruti’s grip on the SUV segment with the Brezza, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Ertiga, Invicto, Jimny, XL6 and Victoris delivering a combined 77,571 units. The Grand Vitara and Fronx, in particular, have become key volume drivers while the Brezza remains a consistent top seller in the sub-four-metre category. The recently launched Victoris has been well received too.

The Eeco van also delivered another strong month with 13,537 units. Meanwhile, the Super Carry LCV added 4,357 units – extending Maruti’s presence into the light commercial space with consistent demand. Exports continued to perform well as it reached 31,304 units in October – contributing significantly to Maruti Suzuki’s expanding global reach.

The automaker has been ramping up shipments of models such as the Jimny and Fronx to emerging markets in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. Backed by sustained demand for SUVs, a vast compact car lineup and growing export strength, Maruti Suzuki enters the final half of FY26 in a commanding position.

Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch its first-ever electric SUV, the e-Vitara, in the coming months in India. The zero-emission model will debut with two battery options offering a driving range of over 500 kilometres on a single charge. Built on the Heartect-e platform, the export operations of the e Vitara are already in full swing.
