Maruti Nexa Discounts With GST 2.0 Benefits Till Sep 20 – Details

Maruti Suzuki is providing huge benefits on the purchase of its Nexa range ahead of the implementation of GST 2.0 in the country

Maruti Suzuki has rolled out special offers and benefits on its Nexa model range in the Indian market. The customers can avail heavy discounts on bookings made till Sep 20 on all the Nexa cars such as Ignis, Baleno and Fronx and Grand Vitara among others. The GST 2.0 will come into effect from Sep 22 and hence car companies have introduced such lucrative offers to keep the sales numbers flowing. The total discount value on any Maruti Nexa car consists of cash benefits, exchange bonus and GST offer among others.

Starting with the Ignis, the manual and automatic variants of the hatch are available with total discounts of up to Rs 57,500 and Rs 62,500, respectively. As for the Baleno, the manual gearbox equipped trims can be availed at maximum benefits worth Rs 67,500 while the automatic transmission grades are up for grab at a discounted value of up to Rs 72,500. The CNG version is also available with discounts of up to Rs 67,500 on bookings made before Sep 20.

The overall benefits on booking the pre-facelift version of the Fronx with 1.2L petrol engine are Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 for the manual and automatic variants, respectively. On the other hand, the 1.0L turbo petrol engine, offered with the top-end variants, gets even higher discounts of up to Rs 70,000. However, the CNG version is offered with a modest discount value of Rs 15,000.

As for the new Fronx, the discounts on the 1.2L petrol and CNG range stand at Rs 15,000 while the range-topping trims with the 1.0L petrol engine are available with benefits of up to Rs 30,000 on all the bookings made by Sep 20. Talking about the Jimny, the Alpha grade is offered at a flat cash discount of Rs 1 lakh while the entry-level Zeta variants attract zero discount.

The Grand Vitara attracts the highest discount of up to Rs 1.29 lakh for the strong hybrid variants, except the AWD grades which are retailed at relatively lesser discounts worth up to Rs 84,100. The petrol-only variants get benefits of up to Rs 89,100 except for the base Sigma trim which is available with discounts of up to Rs 64,100. The CNG version gets the least discount at Rs 49,100.

Moving to Maruti XL6, the entire variant line-up is available at discounts of up to Rs 25,000. The Invicto, which happens to be the most expensive model in the brand’s portfolio, attracts discounts of up to Rs 1.15 lakh for the base and Rs 1.40 lakh for the top-end variants. Last but not the least, Maruti Ciaz can be purchased with benefits of around Rs 30,000 before Sep 20.

As GST 2.0 kicks in from Sep 22, all the Maruti Suzuki cars in India will become cheaper than before. The Fronx will bear the most impact of the 2025 GST reforms as it would become more economical by up to Rs 1.10 lakh. Currently, it is taxed at 29 percent (28 percent GST + 1 percent Cess) while in the revised GST, it is placed in the 18 percent slab.
