Mahindra & Mahindra has officially electrified its popular subcompact SUV with the launch of the XUV 3XO EV in India, priced from Rs. 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Introduced at Jaisalmer today, the electric version expands the 3XO’s portfolio while retaining the familiar design language with subtle changes. The XUV 3XO EV is offered in two trims namely AX5 and AX7L.

Powering the zero-emission SUV is a 39.4 kWh battery pack which Mahindra claims can deliver a real-world driving range of up to 285 km. Fast-charging capability allows the battery to be replenished from 0 to 80 per cent in around 50 minutes using a 50 kW DC charger. The electric motor produces 110 kW (147.5 hp) of peak power and 310 Nm of maximum torque.

It enables the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV to sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds – making it one of the quickest offerings in its segment. Drivers can choose between Fun, Fast and Fearless drive modes while ride quality is taken care of by Frequency Dependent Damping suspension and Mahindra’s MTV-CL technology for better stability.

The feature list further composes dual-zone climate control, passive keyless entry, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, wireless charging, rear AC vents, electrically adjustable ORVMs, multiple USB charging points and a height-adjustable driver seat. Rear passengers benefit from a 60:40 split seat, armrest with cup holders and adjustable headrests.
