India recorded an emphatic Test series win over England in England in 1986 under the leadership of the legendary Kapil Dev. The visitors claimed the three-match Test series 2-0 with wins at Lord’s and Leeds, while the third Test in Birmingham ended in a draw.
The Man of the Series for India was Dilip Vengsarkar, who scored 360 runs in six innings at an average of 90 with two centuries and one fifty.
3. Rahul Dravid – 2007
India had to wait for 21 years for their next Test series victory in England. In 2007, Rahul Dravid captained India to a 1-0 series win in England in a three-match Test series.
