The new product rollout plan of Hyundai includes 26 launches spread between FY 2025 and FY 2030
Hyundai Motor India has laid out a detailed roadmap for its next phase of growth at its Investor Day – outlining a sweeping product and powertrain strategy in an aim to strengthen its domestic portfolio and appeal to a wide range of customers through 2030. The presentation revealed a combination of hybrid, electric and updated ICE offerings that are set to arrive over the next half decade.
At the heart of the announcement is a major hybrid offensive as Hyundai has confirmed plans to launch eight new hybrid models in India by FY 2030. It represents a pivotal expansion for the brand which intends to use hybrids as the bridge technology between conventional powertrains and full electrification. Models such as the Venue, Creta and Tucson are strong candidates for hybridisation.
As of FY2025, the automaker’s Indian lineup is dominated by internal combustion vehicles – petrol and diesel together form nearly 76 per cent of total sales. CNG variants account for 19 per cent while eco-friendly options hold just five per cent share. However, by FY 2030, it is expected to look very different with eco-friendly powertrains projected to jump to 47 per cent – effectively matching the share of petrol and diesel vehicles while CNG trims settle at around six per cent.

The transformation will be supported by a significantly expanded product portfolio. Hyundai plans to have 32 models on sale in India by FY 2030 – including thirteen IC-engined vehicles, eight hybrids, five EVs and six CNG options. A presentation slide titled “HMIL Future Product Launches” further details how these new introductions will unfold.
The new product rollout plan includes 26 launches spread across several fiscal years. Notably, Hyundai’s biggest push will come between FY 2029 and FY 2030 when it plans to introduce 14 new or updated models – an aggressive expansion phase timed with its evolving hybrid and EV portfolio.
