Hero MotoCorp has dropped teaser images of its upcoming Vida electric motorcycle concept – revealing key design updates and giving a preview of what appears to be its most production-ready electric motorcycle yet. Dubbed Project VXZ, the new concept boasts a muscular streetfighter stance and it will play an instrumental role in expanding the Vida sub-brand’s lineup.
Interestingly, the VXZ was initially teased as the “Ubex” concept in an earlier social post which the company has since deleted. It now turns out that Ubex will instead denote a separate off-road based concept which is also set to be shown at EICMA 2025. The motoring exhibition in Milan, Italy will commence on November 4, 2025 and we will have you covered with all the necessary details.
The new teaser reveals several styling changes compared to the earlier design preview. The headlamp cluster now features a sharper housing with a slender LED DRL signature accompanied by a projector headlight. The tidy tail section sports a stepped split seat and split grab rails and you could also see five-spoke alloy wheels, disc brake at the front and rear.

The muscular tank and wide handlebar setup can also be deciphered through the teasers. The instrument panel will more likely be a TFT unit and it could feature ride modes, turn-by-turn navigation and connected technologies. The VXZ appears to use a belt drive system as well. It may also get a mid mounted electric motor with a lowly positioned battery pack for better centre of gravity.
The setup should help maintain a balanced weight distribution while leaving room for aggressive streetfighter ergonomics. Hero has kept most of the technical details under wraps for now including range, battery capacity and output figures. The Vida VXZ comes with upside-down front forks and a monoshock at the back.

The overall design will be a more modern take on the Xtreme range with perhaps some futuristic touches but we will have to wait and see what really pans out. Judging by the teaser, the Vida VXZ looks close to production and thus it could be introduced in the coming months to take advantage of the untapped potential in the mass-market electric motorcycle space.
