Leveraging the GST 2.0 tax benefits, Hero MotoCorp has announced the reduction in prices for its range of two-wheelers
Hero MotoCorp has announced revised pricing across its two-wheeler portfolio ensuring immediate relief to buyers ahead of the festive rush. With GST 2.0 lowering taxes on motorcycles and scooters up to 350 cc, ex-showroom prices have dropped considerably across Hero’s commuter motorcycles, scooters and even some premium models.
The biggest savings can be seen on the brand’s motorcycles in the 200-250 cc segment where models like the XPulse 210 and Xtreme 250R have received cuts of up to Rs. 14,516 and Rs. 14,055 respectively. Other popular choices such as the Xtreme 160R 4V are also cheaper by nearly Rs. 11,000.
Commuter motorcycles, which are the mainstay for Hero’s sales volumes, have also benefitted in a big way. The country’s top-selling Splendor Plus, along with the HF Deluxe and Glamour X, now carry reductions ranging between Rs. 5,805 and Rs. 7,813. In an intensely price-sensitive segment, these drops could be a game changer.

Popular models like the Pleasure Plus and Destini 125 are now lighter on the wallet by over Rs. 6,000 while the Passion Plus commuter motorcycle too has been revised down by Rs. 6,500. With city buyers increasingly leaning towards gearless options, it makes them more lucrative.

Similarly, the Super Splendor XTEC and the new Xoom scooter series – comprising the 110, 125 and 160 models – have seen price cuts ranging from Rs. 6,500 to over Rs. 11,600 depending on the variant.

Hero MotoCorp confirmed that the revised pricing will be reflected across its dealerships nationwide from September 22, 2025, staying in line with the GST 2.0 introduction. Additional festive offers may further make matters more attractive for buyers looking to make their purchases on or before Diwali amplifying the overall benefit.
As a result of passing on the full GST relief to its customers, Hero MotoCorp has set the tone for an aggressive festive season. With more value-for-money pricing across the board, the brand looks well-positioned to consolidate its already dominant presence in India’s vast two-wheeler market.
