Henry Nicholls is a New Zealand cricketer who represents the New Zealand national team and plays domestic first-class cricket for Canterbury. He has been the captain of New Zealand’s reserve A side since 2017. Nicholls was part of the New Zealand team that won the ICC World Test Championship in 2019–2021 and was also a member of the squad that finished runners-up at the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

In December 2015, Nicholls was named in New Zealand’s ODI squad for the series against Sri Lanka. He made his ODI debut on 26 December 2015 at Hagley Oval in Christchurch, his home ground for Canterbury. He scored 23 not out from 21 balls in that match as New Zealand won by seven wickets. He made his Test debut against Australia on 12 February 2016.

In April 2019, Nicholls was selected in New Zealand’s squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. In the final, he was New Zealand’s top scorer with 55 runs. In November 2020, he was named in the New Zealand A team for practice matches against the touring West Indies side.
