Ghaziabad : A tragic road accident in Ghaziabad late at night claimed the life of woman Sub-Inspector Richa Sachan. She was a 2023 batch officer, currently posted at the Kavinagar police station.
According to reports, the incident took place around 2 AM while she was returning home after duty. Richa was riding her Bullet motorcycle when suddenly a stray dog appeared on the road. In an attempt to avoid hitting the dog, the motorcycle lost balance and skidded, causing her to fall.
During the fall, she sustained severe head injuries. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead.
Richa Sachan was a native of Kanpur Nagar and had recently joined the police service. Her untimely death has sent a wave of grief across the police department and among her colleagues.
