Ghaziabad – Haryanvi film actor Uttar Kumar, who has carved a distinct identity in regional cinema, has been granted bail in a rape case. The court delivered the order on Monday after hearing arguments from both sides.
A woman had filed a complaint accusing the actor of rape. Following the complaint, the police took him into custody, and he had been under judicial remand for the past several days.
During the hearing, the defense counsel argued that his client was innocent and that the allegations against him were false. On the other hand, the prosecution opposed the bail plea. After considering all arguments, the court granted bail with certain conditions.
The bail order brought relief to the actor’s family and supporters. However, the final verdict in the case is still awaited, and several crucial aspects will be debated in the upcoming hearings.
