“When I was getting married to him, I wanted to give him a car he didn’t have,” she shared. “I didn’t really have the finances to do that. It was tough on me. But I told myself I would do all the work needed to collect that money, because this gift had to be something he didn’t already own.”

“I gave it to him before we got married,” she continued. “People might say I did it for the media, but I gave it to him 15 days before the wedding. I remember his dad saying, ‘This girl has worked so hard. Let her put the same money in a fixed deposit.’ But they told him, ‘No, she’s not listening.’”
