Captains for the season echo the ECL’s creator-first DNA: Munawar Faruqui (Mumbai Disruptors), Elvish Yadav (Haryanvi Hunters), Lakshya (Kolkata Superstars), Mahesh Keshwala aka Thugesh (Chennai Smashers), Abhishek Malhan (Bangalore Bashers), and Harsh Gujral (Dynamic Delhi). Dalal, now with Lucknow, rounds out the leadership circle.

Behind all this is a league still defining itself. As founder Himanshu Chandnani put it, “Season 1 and 2 proved that cricket with digital creators is special… now we’re going to take it to the next level.”
