Bigbasket is set to foray into 10-minute food delivery, leveraging the Tata Group’s F&B brands, starting with Starbucks. Hari Menon, CEO of Bigbasket, told CNBC-TV18 that Bigbasket will start delivering food and beverages from Starbucks as early as next week.

Following this, it will also offer food from Qmin, the food delivery brand of Indian Hotels. Qmin was launched as a food delivery app in 2020, allowing consumers to order food from Taj hotels.

Menon told CNBC-TV18 that Bigbasket will initially assess how food delivery works and then focus on expanding the service further.

The next category that Bigbasket will add to its quick commerce offering is medicines, in partnership with Tata 1MG.

The service will be launched on May 1 and will include both over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription-based medicines, delivered within 10 minutes.

Bigbasket also started delivering electronics within 10 minutes in partnership with Croma. It began with the iPhone 16 in September and eventually expanded to other electronics as well. The service, which started in three cities—Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru—will soon be rolled out across all locations where Bigbasket operates.

It is also currently piloting luxury and fashion in partnership with Tata Cliq, starting with Bengaluru, and plans to expand this offering further.

Menon added that Bigbasket will continue to explore more opportunities with Tata brands.
