Bajaj endured total dispatches of 5,10,504 units in September 2025 leading to a YoY sales increase of 9 per cent courtesy of exports

Bajaj Auto has announced its sales numbers for the month of September 2025 as it ended with total dispatches climbing to 5,10,504 units – up 9 per cent from 4,69,531 units recorded during the same period last year. The bulk of the numbers came from the two-wheeler side where overall sales rose 8 per cent to 4,30,853 units.

Domestic volumes improved modestly to 2,73,188 units while exports gained momentum with a 12 per cent rise to 1,57,665 units. The commercial vehicle division delivered contrasting results as the overseas demand was the key highlight – surging 67 per cent to 27,587 units, cushioning a slight 1 per cent drop in the domestic market that ended at 52,064 units.

Together, commercial vehicle volumes added up to 79,651 units which reported a 15 per cent year-on-year volume increase. Looking at the half yearly picture from April to September 2025, Bajaj managed to push overall sales to 24,05,357 units which is 4 per cent higher than the 23,23,560 units recorded in the same period of the previous fiscal.

Within this, the two-wheeler business saw exports climb 17 per cent to 8,91,858 units but the domestic side slipped 8 per cent to 11,25,920 units. In the commercial vehicle department, the six month tally stood at 3,87,579 units – translating into a 14 per cent rise against 3,39,435 units a year earlier. Again, exports were the star performer with a 51 per cent jump to 1,37,898 units while local volumes edged up by a 1 per cent to 2,49,681 units.

Taken together, the company’s international footprint has clearly been carrying the weight, offsetting the sluggishness seen in the home market – particularly for two-wheelers. The strength of export sales across both segments has been more than evident. Recently, Bajaj announced price reductions across its two-wheeler portfolio while absorbing increases related to the Bajaj Dominar 400 and Pulsar NS400 Z.
