New Hyundai Venue has been re-engineered to feel more substantial than before – it’s 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider with a longer wheelbase
Hyundai is readying the new generation Venue for its official debut on November 4 and ahead of that, bookings have already opened at Rs. 25,000. One of Hyundai’s top performers in India, the Venue has sold over seven lakh units so far and the new iteration brings a far more muscular stance, upgraded interiors and a deeper focus on technology and safety.
The 2025 Venue has been re-engineered to feel more substantial than before – it’s 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider with a longer wheelbase translating to extra cabin room. Up front, the SUV now carries a wider dark chrome grille framed by sharp quad-beam LED headlamps and a continuous horizon light bar. The rear gets a similar LED strip running across the tailgate, complemented by a high-mounted brake light and reshaped bumpers.
Design flourishes like the in-glass Venue lettering, pronounced fenders and bridge-style roof rails are also available. The Venue has been given an all-new cabin layout built around Hyundai’s latest H-theme design language. The dashboard features terrazzo-style textures and a combination of Dark Navy and Dove Grey finishes for a more upmarket look.

The most striking change is the introduction of dual 12.3-inch panoramic curved screens – one dedicated to infotainment and the other functioning as a full digital instrument cluster. Both run on Hyundai’s new NVIDIA-powered Connected Car Navigation Cockpit system, offering faster operation and sharper graphics. The SUV introduces Over-the-Air software updates for up to 20 control units while connected features now total 70 in number.
Voice commands exceed 400, and notably, they work in five Indian languages including Hinglish, Tamil and Bengali. The feature list includes an 8-speaker Bose sound setup, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, JioSaavn integration, a wireless charger and ventilated front seats. The new Venue also brings a powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting and a smart sunroof with voice control.

Hyundai claims to have used 71 per cent high-strength steel and hot-stamped parts in the structure for improved crash resistance. More than 65 safety features have been packed in, with 33 of them available as standard. These include six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, tyre pressure monitoring, all-wheel disc brakes and seatbelt reminders for every occupant. A new electric parking brake with auto hold has also been included.
Another key talking point is the inclusion of Hyundai’s SmartSense ADAS Level 2 suite. It brings 16 assist systems including Forward Collision-Avoidance for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist. The Venue now stands among the most safety equipped compact SUVs in its segment.

The familiar powertrain lineup continues – an 84 PS 1.2-litre petrol, a 110 PS 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 115 PS 1.5-litre diesel. However, Hyundai has finally paired the diesel unit with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, available in the HX5 and HX10 trims. The engine produces 114 PS and 250 Nm while manual and DCT options continue for the petrols.
