Firozabad | Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav reached Firozabad to attend the terahvi (13th-day ritual) of the late father of NHAI Chairman, IAS Santosh Yadav.

During his visit, Yadav launched a sharp attack on both the central and state governments led by the BJP. He alleged that the government has completely failed to provide essential fertilizers to farmers. “In Ayodhya, farmers are forced to stand in long queues just to get fertilizer. The government promised to double farmers’ income, but today they are unable to even recover their basic costs. Potato farmers, in particular, cannot even cover their production expenses,” Yadav said.

He further remarked that the US has imposed tariffs, which he described as a “lesson” for the government, and claimed that now BJP leaders would be forced to work on the ground just like Samajwadis.

Without naming Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Yadav said: “These people sitting in Lucknow only talk in the air. They have no vision. They cannot even ensure basic fertilizer for farmers.”
