Honda has finally debuted its first-ever electric motorcycle in the European market; Comes with a claimed range of around 130 kilometres
Honda has unveiled its first electric motorcycle, the WN7, in Europe. This marks a new chapter in the Japanese brand’s EV journey and aims to expand its global electric line-up. The WN7 is Honda’s first fixed-battery electric naked motorcycle designed for the Fun segment.
Talking about the new electric motorcycle, it is the production-ready model of the EV Fun Concept, which was showcased at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy. As per the company, the model name WN7 is derived from ‘W’ for the development concept ‘Be The Wind’, N for Naked and 7 depicting the output class of the electric motorcycles.
Going into the details, the Honda WN7 comes with an estimated claimed range of over 130 kilometres (83 miles) on a single charge. While the battery specs are under wraps, it features a fixed lithium-ion battery pack.

The EV motorcycle adopts the CCS2 charger standard, which enables it to achieve rapid charging from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. It is also compatible with a regular home charging setup, completing a full charge in under 3 hours.
Honda claims that the performance of the WN7 rivals 600cc ICE models in output and 1000cc ICE motorcycles in torque. However, the exact power and torque figures are yet to be revealed. In terms of technology, the Honda WN7 gets a 5-inch TFT screen with Honda RoadSync, which enables various smartphone connectivity features, including navigation, call/SMS alerts and more.

On the design front, the Honda WN7 gets a futuristic styling with a beefy stance. Upfront, a dual pod LED headlight setup along with a horizontal DRL is a part of the package. It gets a dual-disc brake setup at the front. Suspension duties are handled by front USD forks and a mono-shock at the rear. The single-sided swingarm further accentuates its sporty design language.
The global debut of the Honda WN7 is in line with the brand’s aim to achieve carbon neutrality across all products and to make all motorcycle products carbon-neutral by the 2040s.
