Tata Motors has announced a major milestone in India’s electric mobility journey by making over 25,000 public charging stations available to customers of its electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs). Spread across 150+ cities, including key hubs such as Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad, this extensive network ensures that Tata’s e-SCV fleet owners have greater access to reliable charging infrastructure.
To further strengthen the ecosystem, Tata Motors has also signed MoUs with 13 leading charge point operators (CPOs)—A Plus Charge, Ampvolts, chargeMOD, Charge Zone, Electric Fuel, Envo The Sustainer, EV Spot Charge, Kazam, Nikol EV, Sonik Mobility, Thunderplus Solutions, Volttic, and Zeon Electric. Together, they will add 25,000 more public chargers over the next 12 months, accelerating EV adoption in the commercial segment.
Tata Motors’ e-SCV range currently includes the Ace Pro EV, Ace EV, and Ace EV 1000, all of which are designed to provide efficient, zero-emission last-mile connectivity solutions. Supporting this fleet is a robust service ecosystem with 200+ EV support centres established nationwide, ensuring seamless after-sales service and uptime for customers.
With this expansion, Tata Motors not only reinforces its leadership in the electric commercial vehicle segment but also strengthens India’s EV charging infrastructure, helping businesses transition to cleaner, cost-effective, and sustainable logistics solutions.
